Is Jules Pipe a suitable candidate?

Dear Sadiq

I am writing about your appointment of Jules Pipe as Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills.

I’ve just posted this which explains my complaint in brief.

Shame they couldn’t invite ex leader Max Caller as well – All three are in denial about any form of corruption involving the illegal granting of planning permission for Whatcott Mews N16. In which they were quite happy to let it go ahead or not investigate the corruption involved, despite being in breach of planning regs and ignoring and having no Fire officers report.

The planning officers involved wrote (among other damning points):-

“…would adversely affect light and outlook to the rear of these properties to an unacceptable degree, reducing the quality of life of these residents”.

Then they “mislaid” their refusal, then passed an even higher development 4 days before the deadline they gave to objectors. Subsequent requests for a thorough investigation to the 3 leaders above have proved so far fruitless, as they all defend their officers to the extent that they offer no answers to the many serious allegations but continue to defend their officers abuse of office, by not answering any of my serious requests.

Promoting Jules Pipe as Deputy Mayor for Planning, Regeneration and Skills. When he has deliberately sought to cover up the dubious scandal that reduced “the quality of life of these residents” is an absolute disgrace. He even appointed Jessica Crow as his deputy – in charge of Hackneys environment when he was fully aware that she was one of the councillors deeply involved in “reducing the quality of life of these residents”. He should be made to explain himself and answer the host of unanswered questions surrounding this project, instead of wasting tax payers monies on congratulating himself!

At the time, I did write to Darren Johnson (as the Green party were partly responsible). He first said it sounds like corruption, when I pursued him to see if he could get any of my serious allegations answered – he wrote back saying he couldn’t get any answers (from Hackney) and then said “Go away you silly little man!” when I mentioned that the green party (Chit Chong) also voted to approve it and so are partly responsible.

I would like you to ask Pipe If he really believes there was no corruption involved, then he should find it easy to explain how the “unacceptable degree” became acceptable? I for one could not accept it (particularly as the officers involved, ran a failed smear campaign against me for exsposing their crimes). My home was the most severely affected and I was forced to move.

I would also like to ask the Mayor (who I believe is an honest man) if after looking at this travesty, he still feels that Jules Pipe is a suitable candidate, when he is partly responsible for sweeping the above under the carpet without answering anything.

Best regards

Steve Lane

PS You could also ask him (as it’s topical), why his planning officers felt they could ignore the fire officers report who said that fire fighting operations could be put in jeopardy. So the second application which they passed 4 days before the objectors deadline and was allowed to exceed the height they originally failed it for, with no rational with falsified and misleading statements simply had no Fire officers report as they knew the Fire officer would have the same response in light of it being even taller than the one he said would put fire operations in jeopardy.
